In accordance with 45 CFR §400.5 (h) the state convenes quarterly meetings that provide opportunity for representatives of local refugee resettlement agencies, local community service agencies and others refugee-serving agencies to meet with representatives of state and local governments to plan and coordinate the appropriate placement of refugees in advance of their arrival.
To better facilitate this, as well as to advance greater coordination of refugee resettlement efforts, Quarterly Meetings convene virtually with all stakeholders. RRP also now holds two Semi-Annual Meetings which are open to the public.
Pursuant to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other nondiscrimination laws and authorities, ADES does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability. Persons that require a reasonable modification based on language or disability should submit a request as early as possible to ensure the State has an opportunity to address the modification. The process for requesting a reasonable modification can be found at Equal Opportunity and Reasonable Modification.
