AzEIP posts reports with data to help stakeholders understand how Arizona is doing with implementing the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Part C. AzEIP also makes reports and data available on the performance of each service-providing agency within the state including their performance on the requirements of IDEA Part C, source data, timeframe, and targets. Stakeholders often want data on who has been referred, who is getting services, and what happens while children and families are in the program. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) protects the privacy of a child and family’s educational records. AzEIP publishes reports with data in a way that protects the privacy and confidentiality of the children and families referred or involved in services.

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) protects the privacy of a child and family’s educational records. AzEIP uses best practices to protect child and family data, and is only able to provide additional data if/when certain requirements are met.
