Welcome to the Department of Economic Security (DES) Office of Tribal Relations. The mission of the Department is to make Arizona stronger by helping Arizonans reach their potential through temporary assistance for those in need, and care for the vulnerable. Our vision is for every child, adult and family in Arizona to be safe and economically secure. Achieving our mission and vision includes collaborating with and coordinating service delivery to Arizona's 22 Tribal Nations.
The Department recognizes the importance of highlighting its commitment, perspective and resources to serve as a focal point for delivering pertinent information to the Tribes. It honors tribal sovereignty and adheres to the Tribal Government Consultation Policy through the Office of the Tribal Relations Manager.
