For families approved for DES Child Care Assistance, choosing a Non-Certified Relative Provider (NCRP) gives your child the opportunity to be cared for by a relative in a familiar environment.
An NCRP must be related to the child, either by kinship or court order. The child’s family must also be approved for DES child care assistance benefits first, and then can put in a request for an NCRP with their child care eligibility specialist.
