DDD Employment Services
DDD has six (6) employment services for individuals who are eligible for the Arizona Long-Term Care System (ALTCS).
Group Supported Employment
- The individual learns skills to become Competitively Employed.
- Individuals work in a group with others in the community and earn money.
- There is a job coach with the group at all times.
- Jobs may include cleaning, landscaping, retail, or food service.
Pathways to Employment
- Individuals learn the needed skills to get ready to work.
- Individuals learn how to work with others and write a resume.
- Individuals learn how earning money impacts benefits.
- Individuals learn about different jobs to see what they like and enjoy.
- Individuals are ready to work in the community after completing the program.
Center Based Employment
- The individual learns skills to prepare them to get employment in the community.
- This service offers a protected place to work.
- There is a job coach with the individuals at all times.
- This is a time limited service.
Individual Supported Employment
This service helps an individual:
- Find and keep a job in the community
- Find a job if Vocational Rehabilitation is not available
- With the needed support to keep a job
Employment Support Aide
This service can be used by individuals while working in Group Supported Employment or Individual Supported Employment and can be used to support an individual with:
- Personal care while at work
- Behavioral support while at work
Transportation Services
- Individuals may get rides to and from DDD employment services.
