The Jobs Program is Arizona’s mandatory employment and training program for work-eligible individuals, generally adults, in households receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Cash Assistance. The program engages people in a variety of work-related activities to increase their employable skill set, and may offer supportive and some specialized services to remove barriers to employment. These activities and supportive services are provided to encourage and promote independence through employment at the earliest opportunity.
The Jobs Program’s case management and employment services are operated by Equus Workforce Services.
Once approved (or pre-approved in some cases) for Cash Assistance benefits and have a Jobs Program Preliminary Orientation (JPPO), all work-eligible individuals are referred to the TANF Jobs Program to receive case management and employment services.
Participation in work activities through the Jobs Program work is generally part of the federal requirement for receiving Cash Assistance.

If you need assistance completing a JPPO, call 855-432-7587.
Please contact offices by phone prior to arriving in person. The majority of offices are completely virtual or may have changed their hours of operation.
