Responding to Notice to Employer Requests

UI State Information Data Exchange System (UI SIDES) and SIDES E-Response

The UI State Information Data Exchange System (UI SIDES) and SIDES E-Response are optional, free, electronic services. They enable employers and third-party administrators to securely receive and respond to unemployment insurance (UI) benefit claim notices/information requests from state UI agencies electronically rather than by U.S. Postal Service mail.

UI SIDES is a system-to-system upload process, using a Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) process, and is most beneficial for third-party administrators and large employers with a high claim volume.

SIDES E-Response is a web-service that allows any employer the ability to log on to a website and respond to Notice to Employer (view sample UB-110 requests and upload supporting documentation.

Responding to Wage and Audit Notices (WANs)

Internet Response Module for Employers (IRME)

IRME is an internet-based application which allows employers to respond to Unemployment Insurance Wage/Earnings Audit Notices (WANs) via Internet.  This electronic response option is available to employers who receive WANs via postal mail and those who sign up for eWAN (receive New Hire and Quarterly Audit forms via email in PDF format).
