On March 20, the Navajo Nation issued a shelter-in-place order to residents. As a provider of essential services, the Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) will continue to deliver needed assistance to the community, but its in-office services will be limited.
In Window Rock, Chinle, Kykotsmovi and Page, the Family Assistance Administration (FAA), which provides Nutrition, Cash and Medical Assistance, will continue to collect documents and provide limited services to those who are unable to be served online or by phone. At this time, hours will be limited from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Offices in Tuba City and Kayenta will be closed to the public entirely.

The DES Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) will continue to ensure essential services are provided to DDD members and children participating in the Arizona Early Intervention Program.
