In 2017, the Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) and the Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation and Reentry (ADCRR) partnered to bring comprehensive support services to inmates and individuals on parole to provide them a real second chance to achieve success within their communities after release from prison. Since the inception of this partnership, thousands of individuals have received reentry services provided through Second Chance Centers, Community-Based Reentry Centers, Parole Offices and DES and ARIZONA@WORK offices throughout the state.
DES and ARIZONA@WORK workforce specialists provide no-cost job readiness services to help job seekers overcome barriers to employment.

ARIZONA@WORK prepares reentry job seekers for Arizona’s workforce through pre- and post-release workforce readiness preparation that includes soft and hard skills development, vocational training, interview, and resume preparation, job training and more.
