Management Evaluation (ME) conducts Family Assistance Administration (FAA) Local Office reviews and Non QC case reviews. The ME reviews are based on target areas identified by the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS).

What are the steps to an ME review?
During the on-site review process, ME reviewers complete the following tasks:

All ME reviews completed on FAA's local offices are sent to FNS for review and FNS periodically visits the state Office of Program Evaluation to shadow and observe the ME process in person.
Non QC Case Reviews
OPE conducts non QC case reviews on Nutrition Assistance cases (actives and negatives) completed by FAA local offices.
What is the purpose of the Non QC Case Reviews?
The purpose of conducting non QC case reviews is twofold:
In conclusion, the above actions taken will increase the state's accuracy rate in the event the case is sub-sampled for a QC case review. All of the SNAP cases are subject to being selected in the QC sample process each month, regardless if the case has previously been sampled.
