Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.01, there was a meeting of the Stakeholders of the Northeastern Arizona Local Workforce Development Area (LWDA).
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss actions to be taken by the Northeastern Arizona Stakeholders in response to the decision of the Gila County Board of Supervisors to withdraw from the Intergovernmental Agreement, effective June 30, 2022. The IGA establishes the Northeastern Arizona LWDA and Northeastern Arizona Local Workforce Development Board (LWDB) under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), between Apache, Gila, and Navajo Counties.
