Welcome to the Department of Economic Security (DES) Office of Tribal Relations. Our mission is to strengthen individuals, families, and communities for a better quality of life. Our vision is a thriving Arizona. To meet this mission and vision, we work with Arizona’s 22 Tribal Nations.

The Department recognizes the importance of highlighting its commitment, perspective and resources to serve as a focal point for delivering pertinent information to the Tribes. It respects Tribal sovereignty and follows the Tribal Government Consultation Policy through the Office of the Tribal Relations.
