A "Notice of Assessment" (UC-018A) will be mailed to you when the department determines the amount of taxes due for a particular calendar quarter or quarters. The department will issue a notice of assessment when it is determined that reports are delinquent (due, but have not been received) or are deficient (incomplete) in some way. You may file a written request for reassessment within 30 days of the date of the assessment if you disagree with the amount assessed.
