John and Wendy embody the true meaning of love. Despite both being born with various challenges, Wendy with Down syndrome and John with autism, this unique couple shows that love truly conquers all. With the assistance of services provided by the Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), John and Wendy have been able to live life like any other married couple. According to family members, DDD has provided the couple with the skills to succeed inside and outside the home. More importantly, John’s family states that Wendy has been a true blessing with her love and care for John. See the full story of "Love is Like...The John and Wendy" on DES Facebook.
