UI Benefit Payment Information
for Calendar Year 2017
Reported on the Internal Revenue Service Form 1099-G
The 1099-G’s for Unemployment Insurance (UI/TRA and ATAA) payments made in 2017 have been mailed. See Internal Revenue Service Publication 525 for information about the tax treatment of Unemployment Benefits. Information about UI Benefit payments made in 2017 may be viewed online using Weekly Claim Filing System. After you choose English or Spanish, key your Social Security Number and required logon ID's. click the "View Benefits Paid (1099)" tab. You will be required to enter your password or create one if you have not previously done so to access your record. The total amount of UI benefits paid in 2017 along with the sum of any federal or state taxes that were withheld will be displayed (we do not yet have the capability of printing the 1099-G forms via the Internet).
If you haven't received your 1099-G form for calendar year 2017 by February 13, 2018, you may contact the Department in writing at the address shown below..

If you need a form for a prior tax year, you may also write to the Department at the address shown. Be sure to include your Social Security Number and remember to indicate which tax year you need in your request.
