Request for Public Comment on the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for 6 A.A.C. 6 Article 14 Electronic Monitoring
The Arizona Department of Economic Security (Department or DES) requests public comment on the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPR) for Title 6, Chapter 6, Article 14 of the Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) - Electronic Monitoring of Group Homes, Nursing-Supported Group Homes, and Intermediate Care Facilities and will conduct an oral proceeding to receive comments on the NPR. A copy of the NPR is available for public inspection on the Secretary of State’s website at the following link.
The Department will accept oral comments on the NPR at the oral proceeding. Written comments will also be accepted via "Submit Comments on DES Rules" on the DES website or via the United States Postal Service at the following address:

Written comments are due by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Written comments transmitted via the United States Postal Service must be postmarked by Friday, October 24, 2025, to ensure consideration. All written comments should include the signature and e-mail address of the person providing comments, as well as the name of any organization that person represents.
