If the holiday falls on a Saturday, then it is observed on the Friday before. If the holiday falls on a Sunday, then it is observed on the following Monday.
The Call Centers are closed on the above-listed dates. The two UI Benefit Internet systems are available during holidays that are observed on any weekday other than Friday. If a state holiday falls on a Friday, all online filing activities must be completed by 6 p.m. (MST) Thursday. When a holiday falls on a Monday, benefit payments will be delayed one business day and information regarding weekly claims filed on Sunday or Monday will not be available until Wednesday.
Please note: Both of our online UI Benefit systems are unavailable on Saturdays.
