In accordance with A.R.S. § 18-305, the Department provides via the DES website a copy of the formal budget submitted to the Governor and the Legislature on September 3, 2024. The budget submission contains financial information related to fiscal years 2024, 2025, and 2026. In addition, narrative and fiscal details associated with the Department’s request for additional funding in future years are included.
This document is a preliminary budget request by the Department of Economic Security for the upcoming fiscal year. The preliminary budget request does not necessarily reflect the contents of the Executive Budget Proposal or budget allocations determined during the legislative process.
