The Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) launched a new Unemployment Insurance benefits system called CACTUS. CACTUS is a case management system that helps employers manage unemployment benefit claims online.
With CACTUS, you can:
- View benefit claims
- Respond to notices
- File appeals online
Your tax responsibilities do not change. You will still report wages and pay unemployment taxes through the tax office. CACTUS only changes how you manage unemployment benefit claims. Employers may choose to receive and respond to benefit notices through the CACTUS portal.
