DES Division of Aging and Adult Services invites caregivers, organizations, and partners to the Eighth Annual World Elderly Abuse Awareness Day Conference.
Monday, June 15, 2026, 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. at the Desert Willow Conference Center.
Abuse, neglect, or exploitation can happen anywhere and can have lasting physical, emotional, financial, and behavioral effects on victims and financial and moral costs for our communities.
As a community, it is our responsibility to ensure that all Arizonans lead a life free from abuse.
Partnerships are critical to working together to protect our elders against abuse. Partner with us to secure the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults later in life and develop new relationships and partnerships that will help you move this mission forward.
Spend the day united against elder abuse with fellow advocates! With esteemed keynote speakers, a variety of breakout sessions and exhibitors you’ll gain industry knowledge, insight and best practices from professionals protecting and caring for elders. Did we mention delicious meals and snacks will be provided?
The conference will be held 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. at the Desert Willow Conference Center located at 4340 E Cotton Center Blvd, Phoenix, AZ 85040. Check-In, networking, and registration will be from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
