May 8 is Child Care Provider Appreciation Day! It is an occasion to celebrate and recognize all child care providers for their dedication and passion to educate and care for children.

DES is a huge supporter of the child care community, as the DES Child and Community Services Division partners with over 2,000 child care providers. All child care providers offer great service to our communities, empowering parents to work, while caring for and teaching our children.
