The Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) is hosting its annual summer art contest in July, highlighting artists, ages 5 to 18, from the families we serve. This year’s theme is “Under the Sea.” A total of 9 winners will receive a tablet in August during Child Support Awareness Month!
Submissions will be accepted beginning July 1st through July 31st!

How It Works
The contest is divided into 3 age categories:
- Ages 5 to 8
- Ages 9 to 13
- Ages 14 to 18
Winners must be able to pick up their prize at a local DCSS office.
Send your submission to [email protected] by July 31, 2026.
In the body of your email, you must include:
- Your Contact Information and Phone Number
- Your Closest DES/Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) office
- Child's First Name
- Child's Age
- Child's City/Town
- Art Submission Attachment (accepted formats: .pdf, .jpeg, .png, mp3, mp4, or a web URL link).
- Filename requirement: Start the filename with the entrant's First Name, Age, and City/Town (for example, Alex_5_Phoenix.png).
Entries will be judged on originality, creativity, and alignment with the theme, “Under the Sea.” Only one entry will be accepted per child, and entries may not contain profanity or inappropriate content.
Winners
We will choose 9 winners: 3 from each age category. The first names of the winners will be announced on the DES Facebook and DES Instagram pages in August, to celebrate Child Support Awareness Month. Winners should expect an email from [email protected] to make arrangements for picking up your prize at a local DCSS office.
