The Division houses the State Homeless Coordination Office which plans and coordinates strategic activities aimed at ending homelessness in the State of Arizona.
Through contracts with community based organizations and local governments, services for homeless and near-homeless individuals and families throughout the state are provided.
A combination of state, federal and donated funds is used to support local efforts to provide community-based services such as street outreach, emergency shelter, rapid re-housing, homeless prevention and case management.
