Request for Public Comment on Proposed Changes to the Vocational Rehabilitation Policy Manual Sections
The Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) is seeking public comment on proposed changes to the following Vocational Rehabilitation Policy Manual sections, resulting from the implementation of A.R.S. 1-504 requirements, which mandates specific documentation verification for non-U.S. citizens applying for federal, State, or local public benefits:
- Chapter 2, Section 2.4: Case Record Requirements (policy amendment),
- Chapter 3, Section 3.1: Referral, Orientation, Intake Interview, and Application (policy amendment),
- Chapter 4, Section 4.1: Legal Ability to Work in the U.S.
- This policy section will be removed (currently published section found in the Chapter 4.1 Legal Ability to Work in the US); and
- Identity and employment authorization requirements will now be addressed in sections 2.4 and 3.1.
- Chapter 4, Section 4.4: Supported Employment IPE Development (policy revision).
