The Arizona Domestic Violence Legal Assistance Project’s (DVLAP) mission is to provide free legal assistance to domestic violence victims and their children.
The DVLAP program is a vital service. According to the Fiscal Year 2024 Quarter 4 report, 2,117 survivors received advocacy-related services, 6,531 survivors received lay legal advocacy services, and 10,283 individuals were provided with community and educational presentations from June 2023 to July 2024.
DES partners with the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services and Education to provide direct services through the DVLAP program. Domestic violence survivors can acquire legal aid attorneys, volunteer attorneys, and lay legal advocates who provide free legal assistance to victims of domestic violence and their children.
