There are multiple benefits for employers to registering as an electronic employer.
E-Employers can conduct child support correspondence electronically instead of paying for postage and paper. This can include receiving and responding to income withholding orders, medical support notices, and employment verifications. They can select which child support notices they would like to receive electronically.
Being an e-Employer also helps with records management. Employers can use the system to access stored notices for 180 days, print only the employee's copy of the document, and update their company information online. They can even register multiple companies under one account.
Registration is easy and done online. Register as an e-Employer at the Division of Child Support Services website.
