It’s Not “Just a Joke”

In a study about digital dating abuse (DDA), 700 high school students who committed DDA were interviewed and a majority said it was “just a joke.” There is nothing funny about abusing people online, as it can lead to a victim self-blaming and isolating, among other repercussions.
