The Federal Bonding Program is a hiring incentive for employers. It provides:
- Up to $5,000 in Fidelity Bond insurance
- Coverage for six months
- No cost and no deductible
After six months, employers may buy additional bonding if the employee shows job honesty. The program helps employers hire at-risk job seekers, including ex-offenders and other at-risk/hard-to-place job applicants.
