- Arizona Management System – DDD Cholla Office Pilot Project
Arizona Management System (AMS) is a results-driven approach for doing the work of state government so that every employee, at every level, with discipline, reflects daily on how they did, finds the waste, and decides how to do better going forward. By utilizing AMS tools and visual management techniques, DDD is changing the way it thinks and operates. The DDD Cholla Office Pilot Project is using a person-centered focus as it creates greater standardization within DDD support coordination and the development of Individual Support Plans. For example, these new tools, documents and processes have enabled DDD to reduce unassigned authorizations by 65%, putting over $55 million of services into the system statewide.
