Refugee Medical Assistance (RMA)
RMA is federally funded health coverage for newly arrived refugees and other eligible beneficiaries not eligible for AHCCCS (Arizona Medicaid). Recipients meeting income limits and other eligibility requirements may receive RMA during their first eight months.
The purpose of the Refugee Preventive Health Program is to identify and treat health conditions of newly arrived refugees which could affect the public health or personal well-being of a refugee and impede effective resettlement.
