The Economic Security Advisory Council was established in state law in order to provide perspective, advice and assistance to the Arizona Governor and the Director of the Department of Economic Security in integrating and delivering quality human services.
The Governor appoints the members of the council. The 18 members represent the public and relevant professional, business, manufacturing, labor and educational organizations.
Council members serve for a term of three years.
