Request for Public Comment on the WIOA Title I Data Validation Policy Draft

The Department of Economic Security, Division of Employment and Rehabilitation Services, Workforce and Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title I-B, Workforce Policy is requesting public comment input for the draft revision to the following:

WIOA Title I Data Validation Policy, Chapter 2, Section 1500

The proposed revisions are as follows:

To align with the updated Training and Employment Guidance Letter 23-19, Change 1.
The updated policy adds a new section specifically related to self-attestation as a type of an acceptable source documentation as permitted and listed under TEGL 23-19, Change 1, adding that Local Workforce Development Boards may not restrict its used in their policies and procedures provided that it is permitted under the mentioned TEGL.

Submission of Comments:

Comments regarding the draft policy should be submitted to [email protected] no later than close of business on March 27, 2023.
