Family caregivers are often unsung heroes, juggling the demands of everyday life while helping a loved one. Despite the hard work and dedication they put into the care they provide, many family caregivers don’t acknowledge themselves as such, seeing the tasks they assume in service of their loved ones as help anyone would do in their position. In actuality, they are extraordinary people doing what they can to keep their loved ones safe and comfortable in their own homes, with as much independence as possible.
