Indigenous Peoples’ Day is an opportunity to celebrate the legacy of the native cultures that have enriched this continent for centuries. It is celebrated this week and is recognized each year on the second Monday of October. Through their influence and contributions, Arizona’s Native American/American Indian/Tribal communities continue to shape our state’s identity. Today, we continue to celebrate and embrace Indigenous People through their language, culture, and resilience.
